ErgoSensorIA is a comprehensive solution that uses EMG (Electromyography) to measure muscle activity, capturing data on postures, repetitive movements , and their respective levels of musculoskeletal effort. This allows for the detection of ergonomic risks before they become serious problems. Its goal is to prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders .
How does ErgoSensorIA work?
The process of using it is simple and efficient:
1. Study Setup
Open the ErgoSensorIA module and create a new study. Connect the sensors to the device and then pair them with the tablet via Bluetooth. Place the sensors on the area of interest using an elastic armband or tubular mesh.
2. Calibration:
From the tablet, configure the parameters of the video you will upload to the platform. Perform a calibration using the “maximum voluntary contraction/extension” test to establish the specific movement limits for each individual.
3. Data Capture:
Record the person performing their work, capturing both the video and the numerical data. Once finished, send everything to Sabentis for analysis.
